The Happiest Place on Earth: Part IV

The last day of our magical Disney trip came too soon. We woke up bright and early to pack up and check out of the hotel before heading over to the parks for a few hours. We had fast passes for the Expedition Everest ride at Animal Kingdom, so we spent some time there but eventually found our way back to Magic Kingdom to finish on a sweet note.

The day was super overcast and rainy, but we managed to stay fairly dry until the very the end as we were leaving the park. I honestly prefer the park with a little drizzle, because it cools off and it tends to clear out.

The return of my Dita cardigan! Austin and I did a sweet little Toy Story disneybound and dressed as Woody and Bo Peep.

I just can't get enough of this cardigan. The more I wear it the more I'm convinced I may have to save up and get one in red as well. And I was so excited about this couples disneybound! Austin made the perfect sheriff.

I'm wishing...

It really was a wonderful trip. In fact, it may have been one of my favorite Disney trips so far. It even ranked up there with my Birthday trip for Dapper Day (I may make a post about that spectacular weekend sometime soon as well). I'm so grateful for my sweet fella who generously treated me to this magical weekend, and for being such a good sport.
With Austin there, Disney really is the Happiest Place on Earth.

xoxo, Samantha

  1. Okay, I have to ask. One, I can't get enough of how gorgeous your outfits are in these--you look so cute! But I'm so curious--did you guys happen to go on an "off" weekend or something? You got some amazing pictures--but on my last trip to Disneyland it was so packed we couldn't get photos of anything! :( How did yours come out so pretty and...well..non-crowded? :)

    1. Thank you so much! It's usually always crowded for me as well, so for pictures we try to find little corners that are less crowded and are still scenic. We also got lucky this trip because it was raining, a little rain always scares the crowds away! And if you decide to visit again I would recommend the months of September or February! Those have been the times with the least amount of people, in my experience :)
